Brand & Content Creator​

​

Role: Freelance project

Timeframe: 12 month project, 6 month break clause

Start: Immediate

Fee: £50-70K for full project

Working pattern: Whatever it takes

Base: Head office in Tamworth

​

The role

We're seeking a talented Brand & Content Creator to lead on our main show brands. You will be experienced in producing and creating branding, devising campaigns and strategies to get attention and drive web traffic to our ticketing websites. You will be given full autonomy (subject to CEO sign off) to develop ideas from a blank canvas and implement them into the business. You will be responsible for the entire customer journey from a brand and content perspective from:

​

  • Artwork for flat image organic ads on organic, boosted and paid ads across Meta platforms

  • Artwork for video content & reals on organic, boosted and paid ads across Meta platforms

  • Support the devising & coordinating of well-planned campaigns across an entire marketing diary

  • Plan, film and edit unique, dynamic, varied and creative video content for use on all social media channels

  • Produce brand compliant graphics for the websites and keep fresh and up to date

  • Source, assemble and brand content for email campaigns 

  • Assist the Paid Ads, lead in producing content for adverts to ensure they are optimised to perform within budget

​This role is senior leadership role and designed to attract a good allrounder. We are looking to appoint somebody to grab this project by the handles and throw themselves into it, you must be fast, adaptive and dare to think outside of the box. 

​We advertise this role as a Whatever it takes role, you will be expected to go the whole hog to ensure you have all the tools to succeed, whether thats self-development, learning new skills, working days, nights or weekends. We jive, we flex, we get the job done... this is showbiz after all! We deploy shows across the week, with weekends being peak time and you will need real world first hand footage. Nine to Fivers apply at your peril!

Tools of the trade

You will have access to some industry leading equipment, you must be confident with using or prepared to burn the midnight oil to learn how to use it to its best.

  • 200m2 filming studio with a variety of scenery and staging relevant to the shows

1. The Pitch

​

Your pitch will be a 15 minute presentation to our directors where you will deliver a short Pitch Deck in PowerPoint format to the below brief:

​

Produce a pitch deck that plans and showcases how you would deliver a marketing campaign for The Murder Trial Live for Valentine’s Day. 

 

Your pitch deck should include, but is not limited to

​

  • A sample Instagram Post

  • A sample Instagram Story/Reel -you must distinguish which one you showcase and why

  • A sample email with some sample content 

  • A sample promotion to run alongside this 

  • Any other supporting idea to help boost engagement

​

Your pitch deck must have a common brand theme that's well coordinated and slick

Be true to the already established brand values, you can see these online

You have full creative authority to engage with this to whatever extent you feel showcases your talent

​You are strongly advised to research the show, its content, the case being delivered and use this in your pitch deck.

 

 The Technical Interview

​

If you're successful following your pitch you will be invited to stay for the technical interview, you will be interviewed by the CEO in an informal fashion where you will further discuss how you would go about creating and adapting content for a number of situations. This might include calendar events, specific show locations or circumstances where we want to raise engagement, you might be asked (but won't have to show) about your experience with specific software programmes such as Adobe Suite, Canva, Wix Websites etc. You will also be given hypothetical situations that you will ask how you would respond too, such as IT failure, file corruption, need to capture urgent footage out of hours etc.

​

The interview process will take a full day, you will be provided with refreshments throughout the day and lunch if you are invited to stay for the technical interview in the afternoon. You will find out the following day if you have been successful in securing the project and coming on board with us.

​

To apply for this role:

​

You must have at least:

  • 5 years (in total) experience in managing a brand, image, name or reputation 

  • a good understanding of how to film and edit content across one of the main editing suites

  • at least 3 years previous experience in design work in a paid role or a degree in graphic design/videography

  • Be able to drive and have your own car

​

NB

  • If you do not quite meet the above but you have significant and demonstrable experience in building and engaging audiences on Instagram then you may still apply. If you are applying on this basis you must have managed an Instagram with at least 50,000 legitimate followers, this will be verified by our recruitment team prior to shortlist to attend the recruitment day.

​

You will need to supply 2 references and clear and enhanced DBS check if successful
